Nexstar/Mission/White Knight dispute with DIRECTV

That deal isn't even close to happening and Disney already came out with a statement denying that any talks took place. Even in a fantasy world where it was happening and that deal would somehow pass all the approvals before the end of the current dispute, they would still have to honor the existing Disney contracts for the 8 ABC O&Os.

ESPN3 is listed because Nexstar controls 35 ABC affiliates, and that is how affected customers can still stream ABC's NCAA games. It's the same with Peacock and Paramount+ which will give you much of NBC's and CBS's sports, including their NFL games.

Dfergie said a while back that he was seeing scrolls on Paramount+ about NFL programming not being available. Do you happen to know if that’s true, and if it is, is it something to do with the dispute?

CBS's games were available via Paramount+ this weekend. And unlike CBS's other programming, they do not need the highest tier to stream live, they make it available as a seperate stream for people with the essentials plan.

The scroll might have been referring to the locally televised preseason games.

His local CBS is KRQE, which isn't even on any of the 506sports Preseason schedule pages (but their sister stations KWBQ & KASY are, which don't even stream on P+ since they're CW & MNT affiliates, heck I just checked & YTTV is the only streaming provider that even has them).

if they do buy them will they be forced to give channels in some markets like WGN?

All of their markets have overlap with the ABC O&Os, if (and that's a big if) they were to acquire ABC, they would likely "divest" KTLA, KRON, WGN, WPHL, KIAH and WNCN to their shell company Mission along with some additional stations as they already needed to use Mission to acquire WPIX. Fresno is the bigger issue, as Nexstar already owns their NBC and CBS affiliates so they would be forced to divest at least one of their Big 3 stations to an actual 3rd party broadcaster.

They have temporarily agreed to return the Nexstar owned local stations and NewsNation while they work out a final agreement:
In recognition and appreciation of the continued patience of DIRECTV customers and Nexstar viewers, the companies have agreed to temporarily return the signals of the Nexstar-owned stations and national cable news network NewsNation to DIRECTV, DIRECTV STREAM and U-verse while we both work to complete the terms of an agreement.

EDIT: They're now back on satellite

EDIT2: The streaming feeds returned at around 10am

Same here, both CBS-OD & NBC-OD are back, although CBS itself still in dispute. I at least thought CBS-OD would give me the "not currently available" message, but that isn't happening either.
