I knew I recognized the serial killer but doubted myself because he looked so different from when he starred in Moonlight.

Wow! I don't recognize him at all. Who is he? On a side note, I just this show since it deals with an obsessive-compulsive serial killer! I have ODC tendancies and didn't break many of my ticks until I was in my later teens.

Believe it or not it's Alex O'Loughlin. The star of Moonlight which now runs in reruns on SciFi. I recognized the eyes first. What a great job he did because it was really a whole new persona.
