NFL 2008-09 Season

[BillD1984]

I have a feeling my lucky streak of predictions and avatar bets may end today.

Not so fast my friend..............it's only 10-3.

[BillD1984]

In fact, his Super Bowl triumph was televised on FOX

Yes, I know.

[SabresRule]

Lions not looking good against the Jags.

Do they have ANY winnable games left?

[SabresRule]

Jets are winning 40-0 at HALFTIME over the Rams!

HOW did the Redskins lose to these guys?

[BillD1984]

Make that 40-0 Jets at the half (and 95 points in six quarters against the NFC West)!!!

Does anybody recall the last time an NFL team put up 40 points in the first half?

Does anybody recall the last time an NFL team put up 40 points in the first half?

Yes.

Last year, the Eagles had 42 points in the first half against the Lions en route to a 56-21 win.

Also, a year ago, your Patriots came close- 35 in the first half against my Bills.

Thanks Sabres, I forgot about that game. :up

HOW did the Redskins lose to these guys?

The Rams beat both Washington and Dallas.........and that's been it.

Maybe they'll have to wait to play the Giants and/or Philly to win another game.

[SabresRule]

I forgot about that game.

I'll bet Paul wants to as well.

[SabresRule]

Well, at least the Rams won't be shutout.

[BillD1984]

Pats pickoff Edwards. :34 left in the 3rd.

[Jimbo]

I'll bet Paul wants to as well.

Paul forgot about that game the next day, you have to do as the players do, worry about it for 24 hrs and then remove it from memory,if you want to be a Lions fan.

[BillD1984]

Patriots are 74-1 in their last 75 games when leading after 3 quarters!

What was the only loss?

[BillD1984]

What was the only loss?

They didn't say, but I'm guessing it was that ugly Monday night loss at Miami in 2004.

[BillD1984]

Seahawks are now only down by one point (14-13) in Miami.

[BillD1984]

What a find BenJarvus Green-Ellis has been for the Patriots!!!

The Pats have been missing their top three runningbacks (Maroney, Morris and Jordan) the last few weeks, and the rookie from Ole Miss has stepped in and played great!! :up

[SabresRule]

the rookie from Ole Miss has stepped in and played great

It's amazing how Ole Miss has had players like him and Patrick Willis, yet couldn't win a lot of games.

[SabresRule]

The Packers live and die by the turnover.

[SabresRule]

The Patriots are now up 20-3 and will move to 6-3 without Brady.

WHAT IS IT GOING TO TAKE FOR SOMEONE ELSE TO WIN THAT DIVISION?!

It's like the old-school Dallas Cowboys; nobody else seems to have the guts to challenge them in that division.

I guess I've lost the avatar bet.

But I'll warn you, Bill- Cassel's inexperience will bite the Pats somewhere down the line.
