Its OK for the home team announcers to be happy but if you are announcing on a national level you need to hold that excitement back. They have a duty to call the game fair and not have any favoritism for one team or the other.

Doc Emirick is very good at not showing favoritism with the Devils when he does nation games, he is always excited.

Yes, to a certain extent.
You will notice, he will show you WHY the play worked and exactly what happened to allow the goal as well.
He's very insightful.

I would hope that any analist would be insightful as that is what they are being paid for.

Doc is strictly national this year. He retired from the Devils this year and will only work for Vs or NBC

The Blue Jackets have agreed in terms to stay in Columbus until 2039. This is dependent on the City and County purchasing Nationwide Arena with tax dollars coming from the new casino. Now we are just waiting for the vote of the Columbus City Council and Franklin County commissioners to put the final approvals on the deal.

The deal is getting wide attention around hear and there are people on the far sides of both camps that are loudly voicing their opinions.

Yep...Sabres play Monday night at home and it is get rid of the "slug" nite. The Arena has had that terrible Slug logo removed completely and is offerring fans a 41% Discount (Sabres been around 41 years) at the Sabre store for new jerseys if you show them your old slug jersey.

Last I saw, and that was quite awhile ago, the Authentics were about $ 275 and Replica's $ 175....

I got a great deal on mine, a original CCM sweater for about $ 125. Name and Number. No fight strap...

I have a authentic Mario Jersey with the strap and some extra patches, I got it in '91 and I think it cost $200.

My Yzerman one has the '98 Stanley Cup patch and the "Believe" patch for Konstantinov and I can't spell the other guy's name, the two that were hurt after the SC celebration limo accident.
Konstantinov basically retired that day.
What a shame that was ....

I have seen game worn jerseys for 250 before at the sabres store. But most of the authentic are in the $300 range and the replicas last year were about 150.

Besides the personal tragedy, I honestly believe it cost the Red Wings additional Stanley Cups...he was an anchor on our defense and in his prime.
