NHL 2013 Stanley Cup Playoffs

I need a defibrillator.

I'm a realist and how they played the 1st 50 minutes they looked liked the older more tired team. But, my personal whipping boy Milan Lucic turned the game around playing the way he should always play. Now if they can get Seguin going the Sky's the limit.

There's been a ton of defibrillator moments the last four years.

2009- loss in Game 7 sudden death OT to Carolina at home
2010- blow not only a 3-0 series lead, but also a 3-0 lead in game 7.....again at home
2011- win the Cup, but three series go 7 games, including an OT against Montreal in the first round and a heart stopping 1-0 win against Tampa Bay in the ECF.

Win, lose or draw this Bruins team will age you.

I'll predict all the way to the SC Finals, but I'll re-predict after each round. :)

Eastern Conference

Pens over Islanders in 5
Sens over Habs in 6
Capitals over Rangers in 7- this series is gonna be fun
Bruins over Leafs in 5

Pens over Sens in 5
Capitals over Bruins in 6

Capitals over Pens in 6

Western Conference

Blackhawks over Wild in 5
Wings over Ducks in 6
Canucks over Sharks in 5
Kings over Blues in 6

Blackhawks over Red Wings in 5
Canucks over Kings in 6

Blackhawks over Canucks in 6

Stanley Cup

Capitals over Blackhawks in 6

I got 6 out of 8 right in the first round. However, one of my wrong picks was my eventual SC Champion. If this were March Madness, my bracket would be toast. :)

My rebooted second rounds picks:

Pens over Sens in 7- wouldn't be shocked if Ottawa pulls the upset. They may currently be the hottest team in the playoffs

Bruins over Rangers in 7- this will be a barn burner, but I get the feeling the bear may have awoke.

Blackhawks over Red Wings in 6- like I always say, you can NEVER count this Wings team out, but this Hawks team is scary deep.

Kings over Sharks in 5- IMO, the biggest mismatch in the second round

I'm heading to Connecticut ( northern ) Memorial day weekend. I see game 5, if needed, is 5/25. Couple of questions. Will I be in Bruins or Rangers country? I'll assume southern Conn may be NY fans ? And most importantly, which channel do I tune into for the game?

Northern will be Bruins, most likely. Depending on where, you might be able to get both Rangers and Bruins RSN's.

Haha

Bruins/Leafs game 7.. that has to be one of the most epic chokes in the history of Hockey. Couldnt have happen to a more deserving team.

Cheers, K
