Bruins playing Vancouver tonight, up 1-0 in the first. The Canucks must have nightmares playing in the Garden, after what happened in the 2011 Stanley Cup Final

Red Wings play Florida tonight and Tampa Bay Saturday and then it's Olympic break. They're still in 8th place in the Eastern Conference. Hopefully they'll win these and get those important points.

Wings hanging in there, a bit of a streak, just when you think the playoff run is over

It seems like the Wings are staying just ahead enough to potentially make the playoffs ... if they keep playing well.

There are a bunch of teams in range of the last spot, but the Wings are also just a few short of moving up to 7th as well, so it will be interesting to see how this shakes out.

Hopefully the Wings will get some of thier injured back and progress the rest of the way.

Gotta love the Irony... in these parts it was a big controversy that Babcock didnt play Subban (Norris winner) in the Olympics. The Habs first game is against the Wings in Montreal tomorrow. I expect Subban to light up the goal lights..

Do ESPN columnists know anything about Hockey? ie- ". St. Louis is a team to keep an eye on as well, with the Blues remaining the odds-on favorite to go after a goaltender like Buffalo's Ryan Miller

Lets see. The Blues are 2nd in the Western Conference. Goalie Halak is 24-8-4 with a 2.26 GAA. Elliot is 15-4-2 with a 2.13GAA average. The Blues have 2 goalies that can be #1s on any team and theyre going to trade for an veteran and potentially washed up Miller ÉÉ

Keep on smokin ESPN
