Nilesat 101/102 & Atlantic Bird 4 at 7.0°W
thanks!

WELCOME to the SatelliteGuys.US FTA forum, these satellites are only viewable in the middle east/Europe

I see you are in NY, so there is NO CHANCE of getting any of these satellites from the USA.

Always check the satellites BEAM or footprint to see if you are within the brodcast area......

Have a look at IA-5 @ 97ºw lots of channels from overseas there, you will need at least a 30" dish / Ku LNB and a DVB receiver..........

I am in the uk if it helps i can get all the vertical transponders (mbc 1,2,3,4) where i am with a high qulity andrews 1.2m with ku-band feedhorn and invacom c120 0.3lnb but have to use a 1.8m to get the horizontal trasponders (showtime networks) on nilesat as the horizontals are 2db weaker then the verticals

So see below

1.2m verticals only

1.8m vertiacal & horizontal transpoders

Ain't no way to reach that bird from NYC... unless maybe you have some sort of special super power and can change the earth's curcumference.
