No Disney Junior on Dish

Why do a loop? Two words: Dish Network. Disney wants them to give in on the HD issue, and Dish won't. They are going to hold Disney Jr. But Dish has a contract to carry SoapNet, and will declare Breach of Contract if Disney pulls SoapNet and doesn't replace it with Disney Jr. So Disney figures that they keep SoapNet in place, and Dish's subs get pissed about not having Disney Jr. Try to force Dish to give up, so they can get the new channel.

One word: Money!

Noggin didn't disappear; it turned into NickJr. "It's like preschool on TV." Still has no commercials, other than those promoting programs on the channel itself

We know, and NickJR does have commercials. Not a lot, but they sneak them in.

We now use netflix for a lot of the shows, but without a doubt, they will one day include ads with their streaming content...

And Disney East and West are "Commercial free" also. they put a lot of spot on there cross promoting other shows, cross promoting Disney vacations, and all sorts of other stuff, but technically, they are commercial free. Disney XD OTOH is not.

NickJr is commercial free.

not really

and that is just the thing. Guess the colgate (and similar) commercials that pop up on NickJR every now and then are not technically commercials since they promote oral hygiene. You are correct Centex, but Disney is relentless at constantly bombarding the kids with their vacations and "all sorts of other stuff".

Oh yes, and that was point. (Written sarcasm is really hard).
