I went to walmart.com to see if they had anymore of the $98 players, typed in hd-dvd in the search box and this what came up. The first thing is the sony blu-ray disc player, then all hd movies. Are they no longer selling players?

Search results for hd-dvd - Wal-mart

I was told by a Walmart employee that the special on the HD DVD player was a one time thing. I have also been told that that model that Toshiba has is a discontinued model. That the 3A replaced it.

There will be more, they still have 1,900,000 players to go be A2's or A3's.

I just checked and Wally World listed the HD-A2 at $199.
