No HDTV when set first turned on

Let me preface this by saying nothing has been moved or touched on 8300DVR

When I turn on TV and channel I have on say 713 I'm not getting a full screen
I know channel 713 is always broadcast in HD
If I go to another channel say 60 and then go back to 713 channel comes up in full screen HD

This just started happening 3 days ago

Any idea as to what might be going on

Could be an issue with the new SARA DVR software that was pushed this week, version 1.88.23.1.
I haven't noticed that problem but I just got the software this morning.
If others are having that problem I'm sure they will post it in the Yahoo forum for Wilt (CV's EVP of Engineering) to see.

OK, now that I have the software I have the same problem. I just brought it to Wilt's attention. It seems to be a HDMI problem.

No problem, I'm just a regular CV sub like you though. Wilt has informed me that they are looking into it. CV needs more people like him. He monitors the Yahoo groups and has helped numerous people with all types of CV issues.

When I turned on my set Friday evening everything was good with the picture
but Saturday & yesterday it was messed up again

How has your picture been over weekend?

I still had the problem all weekend. I would think it might take them a couple of weeks to come up with a fix.

This issue has now been resolved. New software for the DVR was pushed last week, version 1.88.23.a100, and I haven't had the problem since.

I have component cables and I have had the same problem but i just got an update of some sort and it doesn't do that anymore.
