I lost my guide and info on my 922 a few weeks ago when high winds messed up my actuator. I got the actuator working but still have to tweek it but it has been too cold. All of my subscription stations come in so that is good enough for the time being. :)

However...

When the actuator was messed up the BUD was not moving to G1 so no guide. I fixed that. When I got the guide back the info was still missing. I ordered a hit and a rehit and they did not help. The guy at NPS says give it some time to come in. Well I cannot get any info on any bird or channel!!! Any suggestions on what to try next??? Did Charlie take our info away???

if I get it right, you have the guide but no info, right?
that happens to me about 50% of the time. What helps most is to first peak on G1 again. IF I have a Q of at least 80% it helps.. then I hit guide. wait however long it takes for the guide to come up.. then pick a channel and hit info. usually it will tell me to wait "we are processing your request" this should be where it's downloading the data.
it's pretty hit and miss for how long it takes.. sometimes I lose patience and just go watch something, sometimes I'll have the info within 5 to 10 mins.
sometimes it will time out on the INFO and go back to a channel.. have to hit guide again and then info again.. there have been times I'll do this,.. go have my evening S3 and come back to full guide INFO.. which is going to be 30-40 minutes

I will check with NPS about the info so I can try to get this going again.

Yes I do have the guide and no info. Before the windstorm the info did work and like you stated it was kind of hit and miss. I do not have any info on anythng anymore. The quality level on W5 tonight is 95 and the signal is a little low at 68. :)

I did another reset and the info now comes on!!!... :):):)...

I am not sure what exactly worked but thanks for the ideas! :up
