NYC has a new HD local.Channel 49 WEDW.It is a PBS station that D has picked up.Nice to see.I believe it is somewhere out of CT.

yeah it's our local PBS CPTV ch.49, I just started getting it today as well!
I'm happy about it because - I'm in Ct but in the NY market (by 10 miles) and up until now haven't been able to get my local pbs's only the ones out of NY and NJ
Does anyone have a theory as to why D may have decided to make this addition?

Comcast Cable just made WHYY ch 12 PBS available here in my area.That's about the same distance as 49 there in CT.
