Ok, got a problem with my DP311

Hello, everyone... been a while, but I'm back with a problem.

I have two TVs, both with Dish DP311 receivers. The main one works fine, but the other one quit working after a power outage. This has happened before... I'd just unplug and plug it back in, and it'd somehow work...

However, this time it won't. I let the status thing check (1 or 8) and there's a red box with a X in it under 119 and 110. Could it have something to do with the cable?

Probably a cable problem somewhere.
Swap receivers to make sure.

Obviously it is not seeing the SATs. Do you have the home protection plan? If so, schedule a service call. If the cables are bad, they can replace them. In addition, your dish could be out of whack and needs to re re-aligned.

try other receiver in same room and see if it has same problem. also make sure wire from dish is on the satellite input and not the antenna input.
