Okay, now how much should I expect to pay monthly for HD?

Well now that I have the great 622 coming. I have read lots of reports of people mad at new pricing stucture. Anyone want to take a stab at what I will pay now. I used to pay 65.00 a month for 2 pvrs, and one 310 with programing being Americas 120 and locals.

Here is what I will have in two scenarios, for 3 rooms

#622
#501 (have not had to pay dvr fee on this and will switch to my old 510 if I do now)
#310

Programming is HD Silver pack

Dont think I need locals due to having excellent reception with OTA and #622

That is all programming.

Second scenerio for 3 rooms,
#622 to handle 2 rooms (get rid of #501)
#310

same programming as above and #622 is on lease.

I have Platinum with locals (because I can't get a PG guide without subscirbing to locals) + (2) 622's, (1) 942 and (1) 625. My bill is $123.00/month.

You must surely be from the N.W. to actually ask folks to figure out your bill.

But I have family out there and they are way to nice to each other in them thar hills so I will take a stab at it since you north westerners are decent neighborly folks.

Silver goes for 59.99 and you will get the dvr fee for the 501 along with a additional rcvr fee and also rcvr fee for the 310.

Additional rcvr fees are 5 bucks and access fees are same, dvr fee is 5.98 so your
floating around 80.97 give or take, plus any applicable taxes you may have.

The Dish pricing thread says that you pay the dvr fee on a 510 and you dont for a 501/508. See http://www.satelliteguys.us/showthread.php?t=54963

Working from ductape's number of $80 or 15 dollars more, you will get the HD programming you dont have today for about 10 dollars more, but you lose locals. (with locals it would be 5 dollars more making it 15 dollars more total)

If you followed your second model of getting rid of the 501 and just using the 622 in dual mode then you would lose one additional rcvr fee saving about another 5 dollars. Therefore your increment would be about 5 dollars.

Thanks guys! man the prices must have really went up. I paid only 70 bucks give or take for my 921-501-310 with original HD pack (half price first year special) america 120 and locals. Your correct I did not get charged for 501 PVR fees.

So lets see if I have this correct. Going with scenario two 622 dual fed to two rooms and 310. Hd pack silver 59.95, 1 extra reciever fee 5.00 Lease fee 6.00 for 622. Dvr fee for 622 6.00 so total approx 76.00 plus tax ? Sound right?
