Look at the esculation of prices from providers.

i would hate to see how much we pay for all the ESPN channels, when most of the year I don't even watch one of them. Maybe 2 during football season.

Of course, the NFL's and all the other major sports providers rights fees have all gone up.

yeah well I remember the good ole days when I could charge a grand for a dtv box and $400 for a single install !! Gone are those days !

Finally took some pics! I think I got carried away though! I even found some old "Dishtakes" as well. Do they still make those? I think I was even getting their full program listing catalog at one point, but I can't find those, so I guess I must have thrown them out!

If they did, you'll notice one of them is a 20th anniversary certificate. What did Dish do 20 years ago? Just curious. And do they still do the DishTakes?

Echostar started out as a C Band program provider before they turned to the smaller dishes. Perhaps that is the 20 years that they were referring to?
