I had a -- GI 920 -- 4DTV receiver mostly to move BUD- it's backup battery failed, lost ID and satellite map! - it's now junk!

I just bought a "good" replacement ---GI 922 ---receiver on ebay. But, NO UHF REMOTE is included

QUESTION: Anybody know if my old working 920 UHF remote will operate the 922 receiver???

They are cosmetically different I've noticed, but would EXPECT they are still compatible UHF receivers and remotes.....

Anybody know for sure??

Thanks in advance - the arc is still lively !

It should even an old voom remote will operate a 920 and 923 (non uhf)

Yes it will operate just fine. You may have to code it to the receiver GI/Motorola had 3 different programmable codes to match the remote to the receiver. That way you could have multiple receivers each with their own remote.
