Greetings; which Dish Network equipment set up is best ordered with a new 1 hd tv, and 1 sd tv setup, no DVR, I Plan on taking it rving once in a while. Other Dish setups I have seen have a master unit in one location and a kind of slave in another, will either work on the road in either hd or sd?

You could go with a vip222, but it's not as reliable as the trusty vip722/k, which is a dvr. The 222 is a dual tuner.

In Utah you should be Western Arc, as a new customer I would suggest a 722K DVR to take care of your 2 TVs. For your RV activity unless you need high definition in the camper I would suggest a 301/311 basic receiver with a dish 500 on a tripod. When you aren't camping deactivate the owned 301/311 receiver and save the expense.

If you do not want a dvr, you should go with the 222.
