old remote

I have an old c-ban system that is working great.I need to know if possible to find a new remote control for it.The remote is infared and has home direct satellite television written on it.Also says HDtv logo.It is not hd capable .This unit goes back to 1995.Thanks to all.

Check the Skyvision web site, they always have tons of remotes in the catalogs they send me.

Upgrading to a 4dtv is a good move, then you will have a new remote

All I need is reciever? New lnb, new VC board how much money are we talkinG about

Well the biggest expence is the reciever, but with big dish it has always been like that, though the price they have now is not bad at all for a new 4dtv with programming and warranty:

I think NPS said they have some VCII+ boards if they charge to much, grab one off ebay, or maybe ask someone here if they have a spare they will let go cheap, you can even get the 4dtv now and then get the VCII+ board later.

For the LNB if you have a nice clear picture now, then it should work fine with the 4dtv.

Do you have a pink or blue VCII+ board? you will need a new one only if you have a old black or grey board or of course if you don't have one at all.
