I just bought my wife a new 13" iPad Air to replace her 12.9" 2017 iPad Pro. I did the trade in of the 12.9" 2017 iPad Pro that they estimated the trade in value to be $120.00. But I got an email today from them today claiming that it has "screen bleed" and they lowered the trade in value to $0.00. I rejected their offer and they say they are going to ship it back to me. I know when I packed it up there was no dents, scratches, or screen problems at all. The battery needs to be replaced ans she was having to charge it a couple of times an day. Either it was damaged in transit back to Apple or they are lying about it. The "inspectors" are a 3rd party outfit of some kind. I still have the serial number for the iPad so I can check that they actually send the right iPad back to me. No idea when I will get it back but I may have one available soon. If there is anything wrong with the screen I will file a complaint with Apple over it because the screen was fine when it left here.
