I heard that OLN broadcasts some NHL games in HD on channel 95. What package must I subscribe to in order to receive this broadcast?

Oln Hd

If you receive OLN, which by the way will be renamed VERSUS at the start of the season, on it's regular station, all you have to do is subscribe to the HD package, and you will be good to go. Just a note, not all the available games were broadcast last year. It was hit and miss with OLN. Not sure if it Directv will show more HD games from OLN(VERSUS) this year.

Thanks Mark. I'll be crossing my fingers on that one too.

DirecTV doesn't/didn't have a dedicated channel for OLN HD; they showed what they were allowed to (or paid to) on a piecemeal basis and if I remember placed it in the HD special channel in the upper 90's. Just like the way they did the NFL Network.

I thought OLN HD were on HDNet?

No, HDNET has their own coverage of NHL Games. VERSUS(formerly OLN) sends out an HD feed that Directv put on channel 95. The coverage was spotty, and they did not broadcast every HD game.
