Okay, my install is this Friday from 12-5... I feel like a virgin on Prom night... :yes

This forum is EXCELLENT!!! Big Ups to Sean... AND all of you members...
This forum has truly made me confident that if anything goes wrong, I can get help... That's really important, when you consider the "incompetency" of the installations... (Crosses Fingers...)

I have a question, though: (I checked the IYA forum, with no luck...)

I live in Winter Garden, FL (34787). It's a suburb of Orlando. The neighborhood I live in is brand new and there are ZERO tall trees. I have no worries about any interference with LOS.

My only concern is with the OTA...
My stations are:
ST DIST
WB 32.8 GREEN
CBS 34.5 GREEN
NBC 34.5 LT GREEN
PBS 33.1 LT GREEN
UPN 34.5 RED
PAX 41.6 RED
FOX 32.8 RED
ABC 34.4 RED

antennaweb.org says I need a Medium Directional Antenna.. (4 Pie squares :p )

I called my installer and he was like, "OMG man... you're gonna need a 50 ft mast..."

I was like, "Dude, WTF?"

Without any obstructions, Central FL is TOTALLY Flat... Could this really be the case?

What should I DEMAND the installer bring with him? I really don't want to have to wait for them to come back later to bring another antenna...

I am willing to pay extra if I have too... (But, I shouldn't tell them... right?)

Not knowing the terrain and situation over there. I would let the installer work with it. Install it and let see what happened.
