Here in New Mexico ONN's signal vary greatly going from nothing to super hot in the upper 80's.
On a raining days when it's hard I lose it 0 to 30's and the other thing is our hot weather 80*F or higher, can raise the noise temp, on a LNB resulting in 30 to 60's.
In the wintertime I can get great signals high as 80's thanks to the cold temp, in the 40*F or less.
Using my motorized system, I've checked the arc and I'm tracking just fine EXCEPT
for SBS6 where I STILL can't get ONN! Can anyone please give me a good explanation?
I would say maybe rain at the ONN uplink but I live in Columbus and we have not had rain in the last two days so I would not think there was a problem at the uplink end.
I wish I had FTA... One reason ive kept cable is for ONN since its up on FTA maybe I should just ditch cable and get an OTA setup!
Can you believe it?! STILL no ONN here on the West Coast! Did another blind scan and it's not there. Manually punched in 11741/H/6616...and I get zilcho as far as the signal quality goes. I confirmed that my motorized system is tracking East and West of this bird and it is. Help!
I'm seeing a very unsteady signal Q of 25-45% using an 85cm dish in northeast Ohio - much lower Q than some other SBC-6 feeds (which shall remain nameless.)
