Ordering question

I am planning on ordering DirecTV and would like to add at least one Tivo unit. CC and BB have the new unit for sale for around $100. The directv website only shows the 35hr unit as available for ordering with a new setup. Can I just have the installer install the standard receivers and then just go buy the Tivo unit from Circuit City and swap one out myself? Thanks....

You could order from a place like value electronics. They are a forum sponsor and can get you a setup with a 70 hour D* Tivo for a pretty good price if you are a new customer, Link

make sure you get the R10 DirecTivo. it is much better then the others for the time being.

There is a $50 rebate available on the $100 Tivos for NEW customers only. If the Tivo isn't part of the original activation, you won't qulaify for it.
