I'm trying to figure out how to get OTA HD to my receivers. I have installed an antenna and the signal is strong. I only have one coax going to each receiver. I needed two dishes (the xtra one for local channels). My incoming feeds meet in the attic, in a multi-switch and then go to individual coax to each receiver. I have the anntenna coax extended to near this multi-switch. How do I get both signals to the TV's? Do I diplex the OTA feed into each receiver's coax in the attic? Do I need a diplexer or splitter before each receiver and split out the signal to the "antenna" input and "satelitte" input?

The Dish switch will not pass the RF OTA signal, so you must diplex the OTA signal into EACH cable line to EACH remote TV. What a mess.

The best way is to put the OTA signal into a distribution amplifier and run an OTA only cable to each TV.

Diplexing reduces signal slightly on both Satellite and OTA - might be a problem for 129 or other weak satellite/OTA signals.
