OTA thru RCA box will be gone next week

I have OTA connected to the old 1996 RCA box so I have to find 2 converter boxes. (The old RCA boxes do not convert Analog to Digital.)

And so do many many people that don't know this because D* never bothered to tell them. There are alot of people that will maybe loose there QTA feed next week.
(My 2 channels have permission to go digital next weekend.)
Another screw-up by D*.

My 94 year old Mother in law will slap me in the head next week... when she looses her local news.

How is this a screwup by DirecTV? They have been up front in saying that if you get your locals OTA you must have a digital converter.

Why haven't you called D* in the last 10 years to upgrade this outdated unit ?
I do have a few of these sitting around that don't have tuners, but I upgraded long ago.

If you called D* they would probably update you to the mpeg4 stuff cheap.

It is there fault,, I called them months ago and they said I wouldn't have to do anything, They know my set-up. I get billed for them being plugged in. So tell me there computer dosen't know what I have in my house. It seems they could have sent a note in my 200 dollar bill one month.

I didn't even know D* made a box that would do what you say for analog TV's,,

So you guys shouldn't try and insult me when you no nothing of my situation. Thats the kind of help I expect from you people except maybe Jimbo he has a little compassion for dumb people....
