Panny RPTV 60LC 14 opinions

I know everybody has an opinion and I would like to get a general idea of everyone's thought on Panasonic. I have pretty much decided to get the 60 inch RPTV LCD. Do you think this is a wise choice or should I consider something else? has anyone had a good or bad experience with this TV?

I have the pt60lcx63 and am on the 2nd bulb (1st one 1647 hours) and now the ballast died and they say at least 2 weeks backorder on the part. Makes for a great paperweight though.
