PAnsat 3500s - multi sat scan

I was looking at the 3500 in a catalog and it notes that this receiver will scan 4 sats at the same time...has anyone tried this? If so how does it work? will it work with a Diseqc switch?

I see they have it listed under "Satellite Scan" on pansat's web site. I've only used Satellite Scan to scan one satellite. I don't remember being able to select more than one. Been several weeks since I had a 3500.

Satellite scan only scans the stored transponders, so it's not like doing a smart search (blind scan). I really don't see where this feature would be that useful (if it exists).

Was a nice feature on the Satwork ST 3688, it would blind scan each stored satellite, then motor to the next.........

Used to leave it running over night and when I got up all the new TP.s were there : )

The Coolsat does that too (but the issue is Coolsat starts scanning before the motor has finished moving)
