the problem is the box is getting hot, and it can lock on a signal (ill lock on at 100% then drop to 0 and back and forth it goes) any ideas? i believe it has a 2 yr warr. so i should still be good well if anyone has a fix let me know

I think Linuxman had a 3500 go funny on him about a year ago.
Search back for a thread he started on it, and see if that gives any useful advice.

Wow, that was a quick fix !
Glad to hear you are back up 'n running.
You might also heed QWERT's recommendation and keep 'er cool.
Sounds like a good trick

I see you have a relatively low post count for being around a year.
Don't be shy - tell us about your setup or show us some pictures.
Always enjoy a good story. ;)
