the problem is the box is getting hot, and it can lock on a signal (ill lock on at 100% then drop to 0 and back and forth it goes) any ideas? i believe it has a 2 yr warr. so i should still be good well if anyone has a fix let me know
When I was using my Pansat 3500 as my primary receiver, to keep it cool I had a 12 Volt PC fan connected to the +5V and Ground of the polar rotor control.
just wanted you to know it was Cap. #13 that was bad also replaced #14 while i was in there with higher voltage one....thank for pointing that out to me
Wow, that was a quick fix !
Glad to hear you are back up 'n running.
You might also heed QWERT's recommendation and keep 'er cool.
Sounds like a good trick
