pansat 9200hd dvbs2 module install

I picked up an older dvbs2 module for my pansat 9200 and I am unable to get any signal or quality with s2 transponders. Is there a special firmware I need? I am not sure if this board is bad or not. It is like it is disconnected. The instructions I got are vague.

are you sure its a DVB-S2 board and not the 8PSK Turbo hackers board?

there is a big difference....

It says LG on it and has 2 coaxial jacks on it.

what software version are you running?

Like Mikey said there are 2 boards out there.....the actual S2 board and the "illumini" or 8PSK board which is designed only to (at the time) steal Dish Network

right sw for s-2 with s2 blind scan
there are 3 boards
1) turbo 8 illuminatti (dish)
2) s-2
3) s-2 with s2 blind scan
when in smart scan go over the dvb and move to the right on cursor should go to s2 mode

And don't forget to put the jumper from the first tuners loop out to the added S2 tuners input.

Ya I did that. When in smart scan mode the Tuner type is not selectable. I am pretty sure this is the older non blind scan model.
