part request for an HR34 Genie cardcover

It seems I either ripped it off or I bought it this way, but the plastic cover for the card reader of my Genie is missing, I emailed Directv and sadly they cannot send me the part. I wonder if someone here from either
member or site sponsor can help me. Thanks

Might try sending an email to solid signal or another retailer. I kinda doubt that the "door" to cover the access card is a stocked replaceable part, but ya never know. Perhaps Claude could be as kind as to remove one from a genie to send to you then return his to dtv as defective, not sure how directv handles inventory like that, but I can tell you no one is going to have "replacements" lying around.

well I know that.. but since these ARE directv receivers no doubt they have duds... I imagine a graveyard of Genies (!)
