I got the Invacom Universal Single Ku 0.3 dB LNBF SNH-031 from Sadoun to try to get pas9 and i'm still having prob getting signal with my sat finder. dose any one have any ideas also got my compass so i know i'm in the ballpark

My setting are

lnb universal 1
lnb freq 9750/10600
22khz ---
diseqc off
skew 0
tp [1] 11612 h3.670
pos dis
sat scan fta

reciver pan2500

Its a tough satellite to get! Even if you use USALS and a blind scan nothing will pop up!

I had to use a PID scan (I knew I was on the satellite as I used USALS)

I did a blind scan and came up with

Azteca
dd1

p9 1k adhoca cha
p9 1k adhoca cha
channel 5
azteca americ
dd1 and so on.....

Ok so you are on it! The satellite meter would not work with the Universal LNBF (Unless you change the L.O. to 10600 and have the 22Khz on)

How come 11612 won't come in I'm doing a blind scan this is the one I wanted to see (cubavision) ? do i need to adjust it better or what

You will need to do a pid scan, where you enter the Freq. Polarity. SR. But then you would also have to enter the Audio PID / Video PID / PCR

See you manual how to do it!

Where are you located and what size dish are you using?
From here in California, Cubavision is very weak compared to Azteca and DD1 signals. PAS 9 is near the horizon in California and I have some tree problems. Try adjusting your dish for maximum signal and quaility on Azteca and then try Cubavision again. If you still can't receive it, you may need a larger dish.

Your dish should be fine. The PCR pid is the same as the video pid 1160.

I'm in the network scan menu and i see the sign quality most of the tp's have quality but 11612 nada any ideas?

76% signal quality here...........strange! The (Advanced) pid scan should have done it!!

Are my setting ok for Adavnced Scan, I ran with these setting and nada?

But when i look at tp ***** in the Adavnced Scan signal quality is 45-50 more or less also tp ***** is not in Lyngsat for pas9 is something wrong?

What's the difference between universal 1 and 2 btw???

LNB Freq uni 1 9750 / 10600
LNB Freq uni 2 9750 / 10750

I gess the higher Freq from uni 2 was able to bring in the higher freq that was needed to get cubavision
