I have not used my dish network system in a while, so consequently I have forgotten my password. Does anyone know of a way to obtain the password?

Well we get LOTS of kids on here trying to get the answer to that question. Don't mean to say you are.
But anyways I would do what BFG suggested, thats the easiest and best.

And be prepared to prove that you are the owner of the account. If you forgot your password, you've probably also forgotten the Account Passcode as well.

Yeah, calling DISH is the best way. If you don't have the account passcode usually a SSN will work.
