Congrats to all the Phillies fans out there!!

Thanks. Glad to get another one. 2 years in a row of perfection. First my Red Sox, now the Phils in the National League. It doesnt get any better. Congrats and I so happy for my relatives in Philadelphia. My Dad is loving this.

This is the first time I was able to stay up and see the final out of the World Series in about 10 years.

Finally they broke the curse!

1st off....congrats to all Phillies fans especially my best man from wedding(sending a shout out eventhough he is not here...LOL), Danny!

....You man you!!

Now to this post....CURSE??!! When you haven't won since BEFORE cars or the telephone was created...THAT is a curse. 28 years is not a curse....a small drought, yes. But NOWHERE near a curse....;)

Congrats to all the Philly fans! Enjoy it. Because you never know when another one will come your way.

This is freaking hilarious! A "curse". Pulease.......

28 years is no stinkin' curse!

25 years with no championships despite teams in all four major sports is certainly [ame]http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Curse_of_billy_penn[/ame].

If it were just the Phillies, sure, nothing surprising about going 28 years between championships in a league that now has 30 teams.

Sorry you are still wrong.

I believe it was the curse of William Penn... At city hall, there is a statue of William Penn on the top of the building. Since it was built, no building was allowed to be taller than Penn, in the mid-80's that came to an end and (until last night) no Philly team won a championship.

If the Cubs have a curse for going 100 seasons without a championship, how is that any different than the city of Philadelphia missing out on 100 potential titles through its four major sports teams (25 years x 4 championships per year)? One hundred different seasons in a row is a lot, especially for a large market city.

Football and politics.....

Calling out Mets Fan Robert Murdoch!
