Philips Developing Channel Freeze Technology

According to USA Today, Phillips is seeking patents on technology which will allow broadcasters to block skipping and apparently fast forwarding of all DVR's at any broadcaster's discression.

That should stop now... as you could pretty much kiss that product good bye... even if they are "giving" it away, customers will balk on it
