No, i just cut the 3.5mm head phone plug off a MMapp cable i already had. Stripped and connected the 2 wires to the HSI in. I think the pin out is around the web somewhere.

If that does not work i will switch 4 and 9.

Yes, that should work. If i remember correctly that thing had relays in it that'll start clicking when not on a HD channel. I used BNC to RCA adapters to send the signal into my tv. Also, the picture wasn't perfectly centered on the display. I did get it for cheap though and i sold it cheap fast.
