I just got the OTA Tuner for the 722k and I am about to head out to pick an antenna. I got the report from antennaweb>

Im mainly interested in adding WORO, I was almost set to go out to buy the antenna since I read yellow UHF would be easy to pick up but I noticed WORO was vhf and that-s where my doubt comes in, would I need something better than just indoor rabbit ears?

Just my opinion but it looks like the station you want is channel 13.1? I doubt you'd have much of a problem with a basic antenna even a UHF only one. You don't look to be that far from the station you want to receive. Here where I live the CM4221, CM4228 and the 91xg are popular. The CM4228 was redesigned a year or two ago I believe. I've got one of the original ones and it does well with a local station that was on 9.1. You can google any one of those I mentioned but they may be overkill for what you need...as their range is up to 50.-60 miles. Try a cheap set of rabbit ears first and see how it does you can always upgrade to something better from there. Hope this helps....Blind

I got the rabbit ears but the DISH is not finding any channels. I need to check it out more closely. maybe set the rabbit ears on another tv then plug them into the OTA module.

I actually just found 6 channels of WIPR which is PBS i think. At least I know the OTA is working and it's a possibility. The signal drops in and out at about 70. Got the High def version of the local Univision but still no WORO.

Thanks for the tip on the TV Fool, here's the report:

I'm thinking with a decent outdoor antenna you should be able to get the station you want. The distance from you to WIPR and WORO Tv is about the same. I doubt that since WORO is on ch 13 it's going to create that much of an issue. I'm not sure where exactly you can buy antennas in Puerto Rico though. Seems like shipping might be expensive.
First, I'd try and find someplace local that would let you return an antenna if it doesn't work. I'm not all that fond of Radio shack but they have a small uhf yagi antenna that might be worth looking at...Blind

Thank you for your reply, it seems all stations are more or less South of me, I have seen the bigger antennas like the Channel Master in WalMart so it's might be a worthwhile invested if it can expend my list of channels.

Looking at the list and doing some research the stations that are more than 20 miles away are just rebroadcasters of stations closer.

Examples are
WSUR..same as WLII 11 (Univision)
WIRS...same as WJPX 24
WVQS (the one in the yellow area) wiki says off the air right now

So everything is within 20 miles. If a larger indoor antenna (amplified possibly) doesnt work a small outdoor one would be sufficient. The one drawback is you've got stations both SE and dead south

So maybe two outdoor antennas?

nah you should be good with just one antenna. The channels that are just off of dead south (they show as 196 degrees on the list) are less than 10 miles away so depending on which stations are "necessities" and which are "be nice to have" you should still be OK with just one antenna.

I should be able to get them all with an antenna outside, with just the indoor antenna I got HD versions of 3 local channels, 2, 6, and 11. DISH doesn't offer in HD, getting them this way is great. I'll probably be fine with a 4 bay winegard, antennas direct or channel master.

the thing to remember is you have a handful of channels that are on VHF Hi (7-13) for the digital channel (not the remapped channel) so make sure to get a VHF/UHF antenna

I got this because Walmart here is not stocking the antennas, I get more channels on the Rabbit ears than the antenna I got so I am returning. It seems that to get a channel the antenna has to be pointed straight at it.
