Hmmm...I've been with WebShots for more than 4 years...over 50000 pic views and I've never had any complaints...

Looks great to me!!!

The only problem I had is when I showed my wife your photos and told her this is how our dish farm could look someday! :D

My setup

Not exactly a farm, but... it makes me feel as part of the family...

93W

Hi pjcl, you won't need much of a farm with your motor if you're getting all those sats, sounds like you're on the west side of the country, I get all the same sats with mine.

I'm at 93W, but have some trees east of 61.5W...

My dish

I was bored so I threw this little dish up in the backyard this afternoon!..:-)

WAF must be in the negative numbers for sure. It'll have no problems getting DVB-S2, but enjoy sleeping on the couch (or in the yard under the dish!) :D

About to score a free dish

Just give it a little time, another will sprout up before you know it. :)

LOL, Lak7, I had no idea how right you were... just yesterday I posted the following on the "wanted" section of my local Craigslist:

"If you have one of these you want to get rid of, I'll take it out of your hands. I'll even take it down for you."

Then I attached the picture below.

This morning I already had a guy emailing me saying "I have one of those, you take it down, it's yours", he said - lol

Finally got around to taking photos of the dish I installed in March. This is my first dish, although my flat roof is perfect for a dish farm, so I hope to install a Mini BUD when I get the cash. Also included is the permanent ladder I built into the house to access the roof for tweaking. For setup I just toss a 13" TV into my hockey bag and haul everything on the roof, works well.

New projects for the new year

How do I install a 40mm LNBF on a Prodelin 8 foot offset dish?
