On my att uverse tv I could go ethernet to the back of the box to my computer ethernet and end up with a hardwire inet connect. Is their anyway to cheat and get to the inet through the ethernet on the back of the hopper? Uverse expects you to go wireless with multiple comps I prefer not to expose my net to wireless if at all possible..

the hopper and joey don't allow passthrough at this time. No info on whether it will be allowed in the future from Dish.
Has anyone actually tried it on a Hopper with bridging enabled? If they bridge both interfaces, then it may work.
