PIP through TV APPS?

As you guys know, we have no PIP(Picture-N-Picture) function through D*. I use to have E* and with the 622 I had PIP. I am no computer genius nor could I build a program for PIP but is that even possible?

If you can incorporate a radar map onto the screen why not a picture of another channel? I do not know technical issues so I was wondering if any one else thought it possible? thanks. PIP for the NFL season would be great and no, my TV does not have this function...

I'm sure it's possible, but the cost in time and material may be more than just getting a PiP enabled TV.

There may be devices on the market that will do it for you.
