Pixels when using DVR.

Anyone get picture break up every now and then when fast forwarding or playing on the hopper?

If I fast-forward/rewind , and press play, sometimes there is picture break up before it resumes. At 1st I thought it was signal loss, but I can rewind and play again, and there is no issue. It does not happen all the time, probably 1 out of every 20 times the play button is pressed from fast forwarding or rewinding.

Yes, I see this issue occasionally. Dish is aware of this issue and working on it.

Not as described, but it does do that A LOT when you hit the INFO button. Much more irritating than the top/bottom of the hour complaint.

I just started noticing that on S234, it seems to be worse on OTA channels

I think it is bandwidth related as I see problems especially on my local-into-local channel and even more so when recording. Seldom happens on regular satellite recordings, just the LIL. The best I have found is to stop that recording, start the continuation, and view the first part. Breakup can be seen on months old recordings, too. This makes it near impossible to view them so it is not just current bandwidth. I'm using 722s, yet.

I thought same thing at first. Now it's on all channels, for me.

I sometimes get it when playing back from the buffer. As soon as I catch up to live, the pixilation goes away.

Is this happening on PTAT recordings or locals? If so, what local market are you in?

I don't uses PTAT.Happened this AM while watching The Today Show and last eve while watching the NBC Evening News. I think I've also had it happen on non locals also. I'm in the Rochester, NY DMA but I also receive Syracuse with my roof top antenna.
