Just saw 7 lives exposed and now watching the weekend flash. It is widescreen but as to the PQ is lacking. There is not enough bandwith on this channel as you can see compression artifacts as any slight movement is created. There is a certain haze to the picture that does not make it vibrant. This I think is intentional so that the actresses or playgirls don't look bad by the HD camera. However, I think they should get rid of this. It looks the HD signal of Playboy look bad. The girls are gorgeous and they will look great in HD. Please let the camera roll. It looks like the same thing ABC was doing at the Oscar.

Then watch Nooner repeat tonight. If it is the same one as the afternoon the PQ is great. I found it superb.

ya know I didn't notice the artifacts in movement, until I watched the weekend flash? Maybe it's just that show?

There are six states which ban Backdoor sex and the $$ shot. So Playboy edits it so as to be able to have subscribers in all 50 states. Dish will only broadcast Ten Extasy to subs in the states that will allow it. the Six unlucky states are blocked. I know of AR, TN and MO I am not sure of the others

Hmm, not sure that you are correct. I live in Mo and I get the extasy channel and I am able to see all of it, anal, and money shot

Interesting: playboytv.com (assuming all times eastern) has "Ulitmate Playboy Search" listed as their programming. BUT, channel 701 has the end of "Sex Opera" (which is just some hardcore clips of other movies) and next is the "nooner Replay" on next.

1) why is this different?

2) where can we see the PG for Playboy TV Voom????

PB-HD on VOOM is custom made to VOOM. So that's why...I think..

On another Note: Just saw Nooner and the picture is increable. It is True HD and no artifacts nothing like that. I think the other programs had a problem but this one shows a lot for a PB channel. Amazing...

O.K. I don't get it. Showing genitals and penetration up close is allowed but somehow a money shot is too hard core? What, do they think that those watching this stuff to begin with would be offended? Is it edited out or is it that the material itself doesn't contain a money shot? Most bizarre to me. Don't tell me...everyone is using condoms as well?

In some states (such as mine.. Tennessee), money shots are illegal to show on any channel. Here, on Dish Network, we can subscribe to any of the adult channels except the Xtasy which has money shots. So, my guess is that in order to be able to be viewed in all states, they don't allow those things that would cut down the number of states that can view them.

I told you, Sean. Nonners looks great. It is amazing HD. It shows the channel is fine. Different shows have different levels of HD PQ just like the movies on HBO and Showtime, etc.

Okay, after 24 hours of my viewing pleasure (total time subscribed, not total time watching, tyvm) I am coming to a few conclusions:

1) they don't show the hardcore stuff in the morning, but the nooner show comes at noon eastern. Anyone see this Vinyl Dolls? Hardcore or not?

2) I am going to guess that the morning shows/all the softcore is Playboy produced and the harder stuff is all Spice, which is owned by Playboy. It's interesting that Voom is going with this format instead of the true feeds and then offer a harder core alternative. I AM NOT COMPLAINING! I would hate to have to subscribe to more and more porn! One with a good variety is good enough for this guy.

I saw the artifacts on Sex Opera about 1/2 way through, it's like the bandwidth went to Hell after awhile and all the closeup action pixelated badly. For an upconvert the picture was very good and the women were pretty hot. This was a European filmed show. It's nice being on the Left coast because we get the good stuff early.
