Please help

My Lifetime Ultra box get into a stage that the menu button doesn't work. Other buttons work, such as sig, sat. I switched off the box and turn on. It doesn't get out off the loop. Whenever I press the menu button, it dead.

How can I reset the box? Is there new version of software having less bugs?
This box malfunction a lot when I do the channel search, it simply reboot quite often and after reboot, some records are messed up.

Did anyone facing the same problem?

I got it back

I was impatient. The menu comes out after a while. But I still cannot remove the wiered channels it messed up by itself. I just made a factory setting.
Now everything should be fresh start. I am still worried what happens if I do a power scan. Have anyone had problem with auto shut-off when you do power scan?
