My dsr remote got SAT button option.When i press it,the tv show 5 satellites....
Thaicom-2/3
Pas-7/10
ST-1 C
*NewSat-(empty)
**NewSat-(empty).
I did scan thaicom-2/3 and get few channels.These are:
3551 H 13333...
TRT INTERNATIONAL,ETN TV,APOSTOLIC TV,GOD TV AFRICA,MARINE BIZ TV,FTV INDIA.
3562 H 4444...
VTV (MALDIVES).
3600 H 26667...
ACE CHANNEL,PEAK TV,DMC,VTV-4.
I didn't find any channel from Pas (intelsat)-7/10 and ST-1 C.
*NewSat-(empty):it is pointed at TELSTAR-10 @ 76.5 E.I got most of Bangladeshi channel from it.
**NewSat-(empty): i put transponder 11919 H 27500,then i get those channels:
MY TV BANGLADESH,LOVE MUSIC INDIA,SOUND TRACK,DVB.
So,how do i get more channels from those satellite?

My location is cape town,south africa.It's
Latitude:33¤55 South Longitude:18¤22 North.
I have delsat dsr 5500 gold receiver and 2.4 m c band mesh dish.It is fixed.I got 4 type of LNB....(C band,Ocs C band,Wide & Universal).
So,what can i do?Plz,help me.

Can't find much info on your receiver, does it have Blind Scan?

If you mean you have 4 "options" under the LNB setting , pick c-band if thats what you have, and 5150 for the "LO" frequency..

edit: From what I can gather on the net, this is an old receiver from around 2006 or 2007 and prob does not have blind scan.

He'll have to check with lyngsat, I guess, to find a transponder list for the satellites he can see, and enter the tp numbers manually for each, then scan.

Menu >Installation:
(1) SEARCH CHANNEL:
= Satellite List.
= Lnb Setting.
(2) MANUAL SEARCH:
= Satellite List.
= Transponer List.
(3) BLIND SEARCH.
(4) MOTOR SETTING:
= Diseq-1.2
= Usals.
= Disable.
(5) FACTORY DEFAULT:
= Password.
Always i use NORMAL C BAND LNB.But i don't know why i don't get channel from PAS (INTELSAT)-7/10 C BAND ...?

are actually on the freq of 3840 H 27500 SR

Thanks Gabshere.Yes,you are right.I know this Tps 3840 H 27500.I get same channels from Telstar-10.
