Post Your Bill

Nice. Is there any chance in the future of the superstation package using HD versions as well?

there is always a chance but don't hold your breath. The current law authorizing superstation carriage expires in December. Everyone expects a new bill but none of us can say for sure what it will look like.

My own personal theory si that they could ahve done this at any time but that there was cioncern that even more local stations would invoke syndicated exclusivity and force DISh to black out programming.

Yours is missing the monthly DVR fee. How did you manage that? ;)

As I understand it, the 1st (HD) DVR was included in the "WITH DVR" package and the $10 "DVR Receiver" fee is a combo of the DVR fee + $5 SD DVR rental fee minus 0.98 cents or whatever, which is a holdover from the "DVR Advantage" days.

Here is mine. Dish owes me a $49 equipment fee they charged me when I reactivated a receiver I had. It was suppose to be on this bill, but as you can see it was not. They promise it will be on the next bill. I will wait and see.

Do I get the record for the world's boringest bill? We had to cut back significantly due to these economic times...

Nice and simple... anything more than $50 - $60 for TV isn't worth it to me. I'll go back to OTA and FTA if HD Absolute is ever kicked to the curb. 75% of the stuff we watch is on OTA anyways.
I'd post my bill, but I'd be copying Digiblur. $42/month for tons of HD is the way to go.

My unusual bill.

Here's my strange statement. It differs from the PDF statement.
dishHD Absolute With Locals 34.99
4 Premium Package 40.00
Jul 15 ClubDISH Cr 2 of 10 - Adjustment -5.00
Sep 02 VOD Watchme 10:32 P.M - Adjustment -6.99
Sep 20 State/Local Tax (Sales/Gross Receipts) 4.17
Total 74.16

This includes
1 Yr Cinemax for a Penny with Autopay Participation, Classic Gold 250 TSTDR2, HBO, Showtime Unlimited, Starz!, Playboy TV. I don't understand why it says that I'm classic Gold 250 since I'm an absolute w/locals and I can't get any of the audio channels or SD that isn't part of the HD absolute package. Thing is not really sure I should try to find out since it would make my bill much higher. It would make my basic package go from 34.99 to 62.99. Seems like at one point they tried to change me to that package and I called in and told them that I'm not part of Gold 250 but an absolute customer. Can anyone tell me what TSTDR2 is that shows up here on my bill? Would it be possible to add the music channels w/o losing my absolute HD package?

here's mine

Kevin there is something strange between your bill and mine.

Look we both have the same thing, but for some reason your locals are included with AEP and then your charged for Superstations.

While I am charged for Locals but not in the AEP and not charged additional for Superstations. (I guess they are mixed in there with the locals.)

Odd...

That's because when E* had to cancel distants I lost my grandfathering of the locals & Supers. Also at that time since only two of the four were available the locals were free.
