Power Inserter location for SWM-LNB

Quick question/clarification regarding where the power inserter is supposed to go with a SWM-LNB installation.

My initial thought was that the PI would need to go in between the SWM-LNB and the 1x8 splitter, but based some info I have seen when I searched, it appears that it can go in one of the lines to a receiver after it has been split.

If this is the case, then it would be good for me since the 1x8 splitter would need to go on the outside of the house.

After the splitter before rec.. use the line you connect to the Red output on the splitter to the LNB side of the PI
