Power to HDMI Pin 18 and 19

Does anyone know if Direct tv has power to there HDMI out on pin 18 and 19.
I an using a cat 5 to hdmi convert that takes power from pin 18 and 19 over the HDMI cable. All my other device(DVD computer) work with this set up the only thing that i have done different is to plug the cable into the direct tv rec.

I can't directly answer the question, but I would say that if power on pins 18 and 19 is part of the HDMI standard then it will be there. I could be wrong.

BTW, which DirecTV receiver do you have?
