Pre-Amp voltage on RV Antenna

What made you decide on this antenna?
The location that we camp most is 50miles from the transmitter's..The Televes is alot smaller and the performance is the best in my opinion..They seem to be pretty quality made compared to all the others that are made in China..The ratings are top..Also read quite a bit on AVS covering this antenna..At only 7' long it will fit inside the camper for travel but I have a plan for travel..I thought the price I payed is very reasonable considering don't need to buy a Pre-Amp and antenna

Got everything done today and working great.. Cloudy and around 20mph wind at 2pm..I'm about 25 miles from transmitter in columbus ohio and even managed to pull in a vhf high station at 80 signal..With the mast extended full it's about 36' and has some bend with the wind..lol..pulled a station 45 miles to east in zanesville ohio..There's a bicycle rack mounted on the back that works great for holding the antenna in transit.. heading to camp sunday so I'll see if I can pull in anything...

Be sure to pull that thing down if the wind gets up.

Anything much more than 10 ft unguyed is in danger of collapse in a wind gust.
Lots of wind load from the flag plus antenna.

Update on the Televes..Camped out a place called Tar Hollow state park in SE ohio.. Google Earth shows 50 miles to Columbus Ohio.. only able to extend the antenna 4 sections instead of 5 due to a tree limb about 30ft off ground.Received ch 4,6,10,28 and 53 along with sub channels..Using my dish VIP222k receiver for tuner signal of 69 was best and all the same within 2 or 3..The weather was bad with rain and mist, heavy clouds the whole time.. Would get some very minor signal loss for a second or so but not enough to bother you watching programs..The campground is located in the bottom of a deep valley so I'm extremely happy with the performance of the Televes antenna..

Glad you like the televese antenna and getting good results. I have had mine for 3 years and this summer I finally got it mounted on a 20 foot pipe after 2 years using it only about 5 feet off the ground.
