after the "press select to continue" msg appears, nothing happens when i press select (this is on tv2). i have verified that the the modulatior has been set to 6 for the receiver to work with SAT and 60 is the receiver channel for tv2. i have also played around with tv 2 itself as far as signal coming in (antenna or other) and some other settings, but nothing seems to make much difference.
tv 2 is fairly old and only goes up to channel 69, so that is why it is set to channel 60 and in modulator setup, it is set to Air (versus Cable).
this all used to work but quit a few weeks back. they sent me a new receiver and a new remote but neither of these resolved the problem. by the way, the receiver is 322.

Make sure that the remote address is the same as the receiver is set to.

Go to Menu the 6-1-3

This will take you to the system info screen. With the #2 remote press the record button. Watch to see if the remote address changes.

Shouldn't be on cable and not air so it transmits on the cable frequency your TV is expecting. Air and cable frequencies differ.
