Problem recording a series

I've been with uverse for several years and overall I like it but recently the dvr hasn't been recording my shows that I've set to record the whole season so I schedule the seasons again and it will record them as far out as the guide goes which is like 2 weeks then it won't record then anymore unless I go in and set the series to record again. Basically every 2 weeks I have to go in and manually set all my series' to record. Anybody got any ideas ? Called att customer service and they wet clueless. Their only solution was to do the factory reset and I'd lose everything I had saved on the dvr.
